Tamu McPherson began taking street style photographs in 2006 for Glamour.it. Shortly after, she began writing feature pieces for Vogue Pelle and became a contributor at Elle Italia.

Tamu launched All the Pretty Birds in November 2008 as a portfolio of her growing body of work. Before becoming Editor-in-Chief of Grazia.it in February 2011, a position that she held until September 2013, she contributed to notable publications and websites such as Glamour U.S., Harper’s Bazaar U.S., Metro and Refinery 29. After leaving Grazia.It, she held the position of Style Director at Out There, an international creative agency.

Tamu currently focuses on public speaking, consulting, and content creation for luxury brands, with a distinct perspective shaped by her work in photography, styling, and fashion journalism.
